An exceptional address

For quality markets and events

All The Broglies’ editions take place in the exceptional setting of Strasbourg’s Place Broglie. This historic square lies between Place Kléber and the Neustadt, the imposing German Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A tribute to François Marie de Broglie, Marshal of France and former Governor of Strasbourg, Place Broglie is lined with trees and remarkable buildings: the Hôtel de Ville, a superb 18ème century building, the Opéra National du Rhin with its neo-classical peristyle, two sumptuous Haussmann-style buildings housing a bank and the famous Café Broglie.

Just a stone’s throw from Place Broglie, the elegant lacework of Strasbourg’s Cathedral stands guard over the half-timbered houses of the Carré d’Or, a showcase of Alsatian gastronomy and fine boutiques that cultivate a village spirit in the heart of the city. On Place du Château, at the very foot of the Cathedral, three museums: Œuvre-Notre-Dame, the Musée des Beaux-Arts and the Cabinet des Estampes et des Dessins complete this tour of local heritage.

With its two UNESCO World Heritage sites (the historic center of the Grande Île and the Neustadt), Strasbourg now holds the coveted “Ville d’Art et d’Histoire” label.
